DwarfLab Draco Smart Telescope - Standard Version

DWARFLAB Draco: Your Innovative Imaging Companion!

DWARFLAB expands its lineup of popular, portable, all-in-one astrophotography systems with the new Draco smart telescope. Combining a 90 mm aperture, 340 mm focal length, and fast f/3.8 optics in a portable 12 lb body, Draco supports exposures up to 300 seconds in EQ Mode. Carefully crafted upgrades, like a built-in guide camera, CMOS cooling, simultaneous dual-lens capture, and free-angle composition—make creative imaging fun and easy. Explore more highlights from this exciting new release below!

Draco Dual Camera System

Combining a 1/1.8-inch wide-angle camera for target finding, sky framing, and Milky Way scenes with a 1/1.3-inch telephoto camera for capturing distant objects in greater detail! Both cameras can operate simultaneously, allowing you to capture the surrounding sky and your primary target at the same time. Active CMOS cooling reduces thermal noise, while recycled sensor heat helps prevent lens dew during cold or humid nights. Draco is an adaptable telescope for astronomers who want an easy-to-use smart observatory for deep-sky, Solar System, Milky Way, star-trail, time-lapse, panorama, and automatic-tracking imaging.

Built-In Guiding for 300-Second Exposures

Draco’s built-in guide scope improves tracking accuracy, supporting single-frame exposures of up to 300 seconds. These longer exposures allow faint stars, nebulae, and subtle deep-sky details to build with greater clarity.

Free-Angle Composition

Draco’s physically rotating CMOS sensor gives you greater control over framing without repositioning the entire telescope. Easily create horizontal, vertical, or diagonal compositions to frame each celestial target exactly the way you want.

Portable and Field-Ready

Draco packs its complete imaging system into a portable 5.5 kg (12.1 lb) body, making it easy to carry beyond the backyard. Its 5-hour battery supports extended imaging sessions, while IP56-rated protection helps guard against dust and brief rain exposure in the field.
